About the owner:

Growing up around residential construction at my family's Raleigh, NC based company, I harnessed a passion for quality construction methods. After high school I moved to the mountains of North Carolina to attend Lees-McRae College and further my cycling career. I originally discovered the Northwest while competing at collegiate cyclocross nationals in Bend, OR. After finishing school with a major in business and an Appalachian Studies minor, I went to work for multiple companies building zip lines, obstacle courses and treehouses around the U.S. and Mexico. After a lot of traveling, I finally landed (briefly) in Portland, Oregon and incorporated Adventure Home Builder in 2019. In 2021 AHB moved over the river, and through the woods to Goldendale, Washington in Klickitat county where we are building our headquarters.
